Acceptance
By using ZeroDrop (zerodrop.dev), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. These terms apply to the free tier, Workspaces, and ZeroDrop's client libraries and tools (the SDKs, the MCP server, and the GitHub Action).
What ZeroDrop is
ZeroDrop provides temporary email inboxes for developer testing. It is a tool for testing authentication flows, transactional email delivery, and QA pipelines — including when those tests are run by AI agents. It is not a general-purpose email service.
Acceptable use
You may use ZeroDrop to test applications you own or are authorised to test, automate email testing in CI/CD pipelines, and verify transactional email delivery. AI agents may use ZeroDrop on the same terms — for example, to complete and verify the signup flow of an application you are building. You may not use ZeroDrop to receive email on behalf of others without their consent, bypass email verification for services you don't own or aren't authorised to test, send or receive spam, conduct phishing or fraud, or violate any applicable law.
Prohibited use
The following are prohibited and may result in immediate loss of access: — Registering accounts on third-party services you don't operate, whether manually, with scripts, or through AI agents or the MCP server, unless that service has authorised you to do so — Automated abuse of the free tier, including attempts to circumvent rate limits — Attempting to circumvent ZeroDrop's abuse controls or security measures — Using ZeroDrop inboxes for any illegal activity
Monitoring and enforcement
To keep the service usable and protect the platforms that send mail to it, we monitor usage for abuse. This includes sender domains, inbox names, message metadata (such as subject lines and timestamps), and request metadata (such as the client source tag and user agent). When we detect abuse, we may rate-limit or reject inbound mail, block access to inboxes or the API, and report the activity to the affected platform with the evidence needed to act on it. We never include email bodies or one-time codes in such reports. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Service availability
The free tier is provided as-is with no uptime guarantee. Inbound mail passes through automated controls — including recipient validation, a sender blocklist, and per-sender rate limits — and may be delayed, rejected, or dropped. Workspaces run on your own custom domain, which is not shared with other users. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.
Payments and billing
Workspaces subscriptions are billed monthly at the rate shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions. By purchasing a Workspaces subscription, you also agree to Dodo Payments' buyer terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your billing portal. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Data and privacy
Your use of ZeroDrop is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Temporary inbox emails are deleted after 30 minutes. We do not read email content, and we retain it no longer than necessary to operate the service.
Intellectual property
The ZeroDrop name and logo are owned by ZeroDrop. ZeroDrop's client libraries, MCP server, GitHub Action, and email worker are open source under the MIT License, and that license governs your use of them. You retain ownership of any content you send through ZeroDrop inboxes.
Limitation of liability
ZeroDrop is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including lost data, missed emails, or service interruptions. Our maximum liability to you is the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and notify Workspace subscribers by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
